100 Mile Riders Important Information

SATURDAY 29th APRIL 2017 - 100 MILES

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

Start location

The Middle Playing Fields, Uppingham School, Leicestershire (sat nav is LE15 9TW). Registration is in the pavilion at the end of the car park. Register and obtain your Microchip, which needs to be fixed on your cycle helmet. Car park attendants will be on hand to assist with parking. Cars can be left over the weekend at the owners risk. Please arrive in plenty of time before your allocated start time. Bacon sandwiches including vegetarian option, tea & coffee are available at the start. Please ensure you carry enough food andirons for the first 36 miles to the White Horse at Baston.

Wristbands

A wristband and your microchip will be given out at registration.

The event wrist band should be worn at all times so mechanics, first aiders and broom wagons can identify you as part of the CCC.

Drink stop at 36 miles

The White Horse, Baston. Bananas, chocolate, flap jacks HIGH 5 Energy products. Toilet facilities.

Cut off time for drinks & snacks at The White Horse – 12.45pm

Lunch stop at 56 miles

The Blue Bell Inn, Whaplode St Catherine. Tea, coffee, cake, sandwiches, bananas, HIGH 5 Energy products. Toilet facilities.

Cut off time for drinks & snacks at The Blue Bell – 3.00pm

Drink stop at 86 miles

The Black Horse, Castle Rising. Tea, coffee, cake, bananas, chocolate. HIGH 5 Energy products. Toilet facilities.

Cut off time for drinks & snacks at The Black Horse – 4.30pm

End of ride & finish line

The ride will end at The Jolly Sailors where there will be a cash bar, BBQ food and ice creams to purchase and a heated marquee. This is open to all. Tickets are not necessary so stay and enjoy the party atmosphere at The Jolly Sailors for as long as you wish. Please note showers are not provided.

The event wristband is your token for a free drink at the bar.

Cut off time at finish – 5.30pm.

End of ride parking

Suitable off road parking will be provided and we will inform you in due course.

Bikes at the finish

We have been asked by The Jolly Sailor management not to leave bikes in the car park at the front of the pub. Your bikes need to be left by the tennis court directly behind the pub.
